Alejandro was born on January 6, 1987, in Córdoba, Spain, where he spent much of his personal and academic life. He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine, which included a one-year study period at the Università degli Studi di Milano in Italy. Prior to this, during his school years, he also spent an academic year in County Donegal, Ireland.

After completing his university studies, he worked for two years as an Official Veterinarian for the Food Standards Agency in the United Kingdom, carrying out duties related to public health and animal welfare.

He subsequently moved to the United States, where he spent two years as Area Manager for North America at COVAP. As part of the International Department, he focused on developing the North American market for Iberian pork products, working directly with importers and distributors and laying the foundations for the establishment of the company’s subsidiary in the Americas.

His veterinary background and interest in animal production and nutrition later led him to join Alltech as a technical sales specialist focused on dairy cattle in Andalusia. In this role, he provided technical advice at farm level, covering areas ranging from feed formulation and nutrition to other services related to livestock production. He later took on the role of Area Manager for Southern Spain.

In mid-2022, he took another step forward in his professional career by assuming the position of Commercial Director for Alltech’s livestock business in Spain and Portugal, a role he continues to hold today. His responsibilities were subsequently expanded to include the management of the Marketing department in late 2023 and the Sustainability department in mid-2025.
