Manuel is a partner in the Deals team in Spain, with over 20 years of experience advising Private Equity funds and industrial clients, focused on the agri-food sector. In addition to leading the Retail & Consumer team within Deals Spain, he has extensive experience in Financial Due Diligence and transaction services at both local and international levels. Manuel holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and currently serves as an MBA professor at ESCP Business School in Madrid.

Throughout his career, he has participated in more than 400 transactions, including two years on the Financial Due Diligence team in New York. His experience in the agri-food sector includes advisory work on key transactions in the Spanish market, such as:

•Advising Magnum on the build-up process and subsequent divestiture of Agronova Biotech, a global leader in biological crop solutions.

•Advised Fremman Capital on the acquisition of Grupo Bollo.

•Advised Alantra on the acquisition of AG Olives.

•The acquisition of Candido Miró (Serpis) by Miura.

•Acquisition of Grupo Agrupapulpi by Magnum Industrial Partners and its subsequent divestiture to Solum Partners.

•Advised EQT on the acquisition of SNFL (now Bloom).

•Advised ProA Capital on the acquisition of Moyca.

•Advised Solum Partners on the acquisition of Fuencampo.

•Advised Investcorp on the sale of Agromillora.
