Pedro Barraco is 31 years old. Since 2019, he has held both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Food Engineering from the School of Agriculture of the University of Lisbon. He completed his master’s thesis in the HoReCa sector.

In 2023, he completed the GAIN Sector Programme in Agrifood Chain Business Management at AESE Business School in Lisbon.

He has worked in the large-scale retail sector since 2018. In 2020, he joined Mercadona Portugal’s External Relations Department. He currently holds the position of Institutional Director for the Agrifood Chain, representing the growing supermarket chain in Portugal before the country’s leading agrifood institutions and consumer associations.
