Daniel Sachs is a Partner and Head of Investments at Solum. He serves on the boards of directors of Monte Vista, Nourse Farms, Agrupapulpi, and Greenyard.

Prior to joining Solum, Daniel was a Portfolio Manager in HMC’s Natural Resources Group, where he led the transactions team.

Before joining HMC, he spent more than ten years at Itaú BBA, where he served as Group Head of the Investment Banking Department. He specialized in Latin American agribusiness, food and beverage, education, and healthcare, and led advisory work on more than US$30 billion in mergers and acquisitions and equity issuances for several global and regional market participants. Before that, he spent three years in the Investment Banking Department at UBS, working both with the Latin America team based in São Paulo and the European team based in London.

Daniel holds a law degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in Brazil, with a specialization in Corporate Law.
